History:

Mur Malanga clinic has been in existence since 2013 and is currently serving 4 villages namely Mur Malanga, Upanda, Bar Olengo and Uyemba

It serves about 40 – 50 patients in a day

Specializing in

Maternal health that is Mother and child clinic

Special Support Center – HIV Aids patients

Currently the clinic is managed by the village elders in partnership with the government, It’s operational with ONLY two nurses but most importantly without most of the crucial medical equipment hence the spirit of this project.

Its limitation in both infrastructural and human resource makes it to be operational only between 8am-5pm weekdays only.

Why this project:

  1. As member of this community I would like to see my nearest medical Centre equipped well enough to serve my people to the standards I have experienced in the urban centers.
  2. Maternal health and child birth mortality continues to sting this country and my hope is to see more mothers and children saved during child birth by purchasing life saving equipment to the clinic.
  3. The beginning of the Journey to make this Center's operate 24 hour and even handled complications especially during emergency child birth. Increase efficiency and capacity of the facility.
  4. PHASE 2: Renovate the building to look good and clean.
